This session is designed to deliver Leadership tools to re-position your small business through inspirational and impactful leadership whilst creating the opportunity to grow within your business.
Delivered by James Cracknell ‘Entrepreneur in Residence’ at the University of Essex
James is an experienced facilitator, qualified systems thinker and someone with a long track record in business and business development. For the last six years he has been heavily involved in supporting local businesses across Essex and Suffolk working through the local enterprise agencies and directly supporting local entrepreneurs as they seek to grow their business. He has as depth of knowledge across multiple sectors including tourism, hospitality, retail, education and an extensive background in finance and capital markets with a 28 year career working for blue chip investment bank. He has specialised in financial innovation, team development and risk, mitigation and acquisition. As an entrepreneur he has grown businesses in the local region, is currently developing a new venture with ambitions to change the face of business support and been involved in social impact enterprises as well as for profit operations.

Parking
There are pay and display parking spaces next to the Innovation Centre at the side of the building, by North Towers.
However, should those be full there are spaces available in the University carpark on Capon Road and this is pay and display parking also, and just a short distance from the Centre main entrance at the front of the building.
