Essex Chambers Festival of Business

After its successful debut in April 2022, we are delighted to be bringing you our second Festival of Business at Hylands Estate on Tuesday 5 September 2023, from 10.00am until 3.00pm featuring headline partners DP World!

The theme of this years Festival will be ‘A Changing World’, with the seemingly constant fluctuations in recent times it felt apt to address these issues head on.

The current business conditions are overwhelming and stressful. Companies are facing escalating concerns over increasing energy costs, recruitment & retainment issues, skills shortages, Carbon & Bio-Diversity literacy and responsibilities, employee wellbeing and problems with supply chains.

However, these changes can offer positive long-term benefits for businesses that are open to adapting and thinking on their feet. Adaptability and reinvention are key to staying afloat in the long term and there is a need to try to bring a balance between profit, customer satisfaction and ethical trading. We have seen our businesses in Essex re-invent themselves and branch out in ways they had never considered – and they are thriving.
